Mazorca Cornmeal

This is a raw cereal resulting from dry
degermination and from grinding yellow corn,
and subjecting this to a drying process to thus
obtain the desired humidity and stability. Aside from
the nutrients it contains on its own, Mazorca Cornmeal is
subjected to a fortification process within the production system
to add essential nutrients for the strengthening and development of the human body.

The fortification itself
consists of Iron,
Niacin, Folic Acid,
Pantothenic Acid,
Vitamin A, Vitamin E,
Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2,
and Vitamin B6.

The human body needs to consume a variety of types of food that provide it with the energy and nutrients it needs to develop its multiple functions, that it, it needs a healthy diet.

It has been proven that a healthy and balanced diet prevents anemia and obesity; and at the same time, prevents illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis and some cancers and cardiovascular diseases.A healthy diet allows for a better quality of life.

MAZORCA CORNMEAL is a valuable product due to its nutritional contribution in energy, its valuable protein contents (8 to 10%), its contribution of micronutrients, product of the fortification with iron, niacin, vitamins A E, B1, B2, B6, pantotenic acid and folic acid.

The energy in these foodstuffs is used by the body for several purposes, such as for example: walking, breathing, growing, running, producing breast milk and maintaining healthy.

The daily energy intake must be appropriate to our daily activities and our physical state.
