Kimberly-Clark and MercaSID presented, at a singular event, for business and the media the new disposable diaper HUGGIES® ACTIVE SEC.

At an event held in the Gran Salon of the Melia Santo Domingo Hotel, the new product Huggies® Active Sec was presented. For this occasion, the main executives of Kimberly Clark and MercaSID recreated a television studio for a Newscast which they called "Noti Huggies" (Huggies News).

Since their arrivals, the guests invited to the launch of Huggies® Active Sec were able to enjoy each of the details that characterized the filming studios for a newscast. The formal act began with the transmission from Puerto Rico of the Regional Managers for Kimberly Clark diapers, Mr. Jaime Bahamundi, who explained how Huggies® has been improved further: Huggies® Ultratrim. Following the presentation of "Noti Huggies" (Huggies News) he presented a study that states that: 6 out of every 10 Dominican child uses Huggies disposable diapers.

José Luis Cabrera, General Manager of Kimberly-Clark Dominican Republic was in charge of the presentation for the new disposable diaper Huggies® Active Sec, stressing the quality of the product and restating that: "Huggies is a brand committed to offering its consumers different alternatives of high quality products, therefore during these times of economic changed we offer Huggies® Active Sec, a less costly product with the same quality that characterizes Huggies disposable diapers".

For her part, Claritza Diaz, Business Manager for MercaSID, the company that distributed the Huggies® products nationwide, in her speech, explained that Huggies® Active Sec have all the support in distribution and marketing that the rest of the Huggies products have, as well as a price scheme that will allow it to be more competitive and accessible to mothers.

At the end of the presentation, Ms. Lil Esteva and Mr. Fernando Armenteros, Vicepresident of Business and Sales at MercaSID, thanked all those present for attending and for preferring Huggies, and to reaffirm the quality of Huggies® Active Sec they made a live test of the absorption of the diaper, cause admiration from all those present.

The evening's surprise was the presentation of a fun show called "Humor Viejo no se Olivia"(Old Humor not Forgotten).
